London - A MOTHER allegedly hacked her four-year-old daughter to death while chanting verses of the Koran. Shayma Bharuchi is believed to have stabbed her young daughter in the heart and horrifically chopped out her organs. Police suspect she carried out the gruesome killing as a religious offering while chanting verses of the Muslim holy book. The girl’s father, Jerome Negrey, is said to have returned from work on Thursday afternoon to find his part-ner covered in blood and clutching a kitchen knife. A police source said: “It appears to be some sort of bizarre ritual killing. “She was chanting passages of the Koran while listening to a recording of the text on her MP3 player.” A neighbour, who asked not to be named, told how he heard “blood-curdling” screams from the flat upstairs in Clapton, East London. He said: “I was feeding my daughter her lunch at about 3pm and suddenly heard horrific screaming. The couple have lived in the flat for about a year. It is shocking and so upsetting.” Bharuchi was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murdering her daughter, who last night had not yet been named. Full Story>>
