Riyadh - A Saudi man was beheaded today in Tabuk in the ultra-conservative kingdom’s north after being convicted of sexually assaulting another man’s wife, a statement from the interior ministry said. Adel bin Mohammed Assiri forcibly entered the man’s apartment and assaulted the man’s wife, hitting her, photographing her naked and attempting to rape her, said the statement carried by the official SPA news agency. His execution brings to 32 the number of people beheaded in Saudi Arabia this year, according to an AFP tally based on official and human rights group reports.
