Riyadh - The body of a Filipino maid, who allegedly committed suicide, was found hanging in the balcony of her sponsor's home in Ajman. According to a report in Gulf News the body has been sent to a forensics laboratory for an autopsy. The 28-year-old Filipina who was identified as Lornda M., died on Friday evening. She had been working for an Arab family, which stays in Al Humood Building. According to the police report, her sponsor said she had been behaving strangely during her stay with them. "Her sponsor informed the police that she had also run away from the house a few days before she committed suicide," the official said. The sponsor is reported to have said that the maid had been treated kindly by the family. The sponsor's wife discovered the maid's body.
